Hi, I'm Valarie. I was on SP a long time ago, tried SP, tried WW, done Advocare. But frankly I never put my heart in it. I HATE having to constantly think about food. But now my hubs is on the Advocare product and Team Evolve diet, so he can fix all my food for me :)
Added bonus, my 18 year-old daughter who was in a terrible accident last year and can no longer exercise like she wants to, and lives at home home-schooling her senior year which she missed last year, is also starting this with me, and she doesn't mind the kitchen in the least bit. So between Jman and DD#2 doing most of my meals for me, I should be okay.
My goal is to have the habit of eating better, get that darned pantry cleaned out of all the junk, and when I do cook (I can cook quite well, actually, surprisingly, I just don't love to) I'll cook much healthier and less fattening meals.
I'm 46 and must get myself under control.
Yesterday DD#2 and I both started the Advocare 10-day cleanse. Jman is doing the Team Evolve diet plan, so he's got us headed towards that as a fat-burning goal, and unlike him I will actually exercise. I get a couple of 15-minute breaks (I work at home, glued to chair and computer with tough daily goals I have to put ALL that time in to reach), so as long as someone else is helping out with preparing the meals for me, I can use those breaks for at least floor stretching activities. Maybe start walking in the neighborhood with DD#1's White Shepherd and DD#2's mini Aussie. They both need the exercise like crazy.
Meanwhile, I'm just plain needy. I needy the encouragement, and I needy the accountability!
