Hi everyone! Long-time SP member here. I have really struggled through my mid-late 20s with putting my weight back on. My brother recently became an Advocare distributor. He got my sister on board to become a distributor as well. My mom, sister and I all started our 24 day challenges on Monday, the day after Easter. I had my first weigh-in today and am down 7 pounds! My rings now fit again. My hands and feet aren't swelling. I have no more dark circles under my eyes and I feel better than ever. So glad my brother convinced me to take the challenge!

Hi, my name is Trish, and I have been on SP for a long time. I became an AdvoCare distributor last month, and started the 24-Day Challenge today. I love the products, and am excited about the challenge!

Finally decided that "This Has To Stop"--

Hello! My name is Jamie and I am currently on my 4th 24 Day Challenge. I have lost about 65 lbs to date since beginning my AdvoCare journey in Jan. 2013. I could have lost more, but I stopped using the products last summer just because life got a little busy with a wedding, a move, a new grandbaby, a full time school schedule, a full time job, my daughter getting married and her and her hubby moving out at the beginning of this year. Life is finally calming down a bit and what I noticed most of all after not taking any products, except my daily Spark, was that I didn't gain all my weight back that I had lost after my first 2 challenges. That's what had me sold! I'm not where I would like to be, but I've come a long way to stop now! I'm glad I found this group.

Hello all,
My name is REbecca and I have been doing Advocare since the middle to end of January. My first challange didn't go so well since I got sick on day 5 and have just bumped along since. I really haven't lost any weight on it so far but it seems like my binge eating has been in control which is a real bonus for me.

I ordered another cleanse and will start it as soon as it arrives. I am committing to this 100% and ready to get my food back in order. I am currently training for my first sprint triathlon which will be at the end of July.

All of your support is definitely needed here....lol emoticon

Hello, My name is Janet. I just found this team today! I started a 24 day challenge today...again...I have been doing Advocare for almost 3 years (minus some time I had to take off because our house burned), but I have lost over a 100 lbs. on product. It is amazing, and has saved my life. I am looking for other people on SP to share with. I spend a lot of time on FB finding recipes and advice, but I really enjoy the atmosphere of SP as well. Today was a good day....looking forward to tomorrow!

I am going to be turning 28 in a little over a month. Every year I tell myself that I want to work on me and then I do it for a month and give up. I decided to give the Advocare 24 day challenge a try and I should be getting it in the mail tomorrow or early next week.

I am excited--and nervous. I feel like this is the first time in my life that I have let myself get to where I am right now. I gave up soda a year ago--it was hard, but I have stuck to it. I am trying to basically find the motivation for helping myself through all of this. I hurt my foot while training for my first 5k (and I still ran it this past weekend with a hurt foot), but I am finding it harder and harder to stay motivated.

Hoping that I can turn to online friends for some courage because while I like to think I have a lot of people in my life that are willing to push me--I don't think that they all necessarily understand and always tell me 'you don't need to lose weight'.

I know that I WANT to do this for myself and I am looking forward to seeing where this goes from here.

Thanks everyone!

Hello. I'm Angel and I have been gained 30 lbs over the last 5 years and I'm ready to get back to being healthy. I've been exercising consistently for the last 2 months and I feel great. My husband is an Advocare Distr and I love the products. I am planning to do the 24 day challenge with in the next few weeks, but my favorite is my Spark. Have it every morning and it's a great start to my day.
Hoping we can encourage each other.

Hello. My name is Cheri. I have been on Sparkpeople for a few years now. I lost a bunch of weight at first, but I have been about the same weight for over 2 years now. I need to lose about 50 more lbs. I will be doing the Advocare 24 day challenge starting on December 1st. I figured, why wait til January 1st. I am excited. I know I picked a tough time of year to do it, but I have co-workers who are on Advocare so I have a great support system.

Hi all my name is Erica I have been thinking about using some advocare products to give my weight loss a kick in the butt since I have been stuck in a rutt for the last month. My fiance is a big advocare user but his use is more for muscle building ect so he's not really any help lol. I really wanted to do the 24 day challenge but am working with limited funds if I just do the cleanse what kind of results can I expect?

Glad to hear that your challenge is going well so far NEWMOM!

If you follow the eating plan, take your MNS packets when you're supposed to, and get your 30+ minutes of exercise in each day you should see great results and feel better by day 24!

Best bit of advice I ever received - try to be 100% ON at least 80% of the time. No one is perfect. Maybe you eat something not on the plan, maybe you forget to workout a couple of days - don't beat yourself up about it. Just try your best to do the challenge completely right 80% of the time or more.

I love seeing these results...need motivation wherever I can get it! I'm a total flop when it comes to putting food plans together. Monday for lunch I ate a sweet potato, a couple chunks of cauliflower, and a can of tuna. Dry. Bleh! So my first "cheat" was adding a bit of honey mustard to moisten it. That night I read about someone using Canola Mayo with tuna....I'd never heard of such a thing! So I got some canola mayo and yesterday I ate tuna with that mayo and Worcestershire sauce. MUCH better! LOL (and I incorporated globs of that into a lettuce salad and really enjoyed it).

(my hubby eats a tuna salad sandwich every.single.day that I make using miracle whip, zucchini relish, & a chopped egg. But I knew that concoction probably wouldn't be a good idea for me right now...too much sugar in the relish I'm sure)

Great job Candybigler! I just finished my 90 days. I have lost of a total of 28 lbs and 30.75 inches. I also feel great. I started out wanting to lose 40 lbs but I may just go a bit lower. As of today I just started a new cleanse phase and my fiance also started with me today. He saw my results and now wants to try. I also have so much more energy. I have been walking outside or on the treadmill at least 3-5 times per week. I would recommend to anyone. The loss you see in the first 24 days is a huge boost to your commitment. Keep going girl!!! You can do this.

If you stick to this just as it says and no cheating it will work and you will feel great I have lost most of my urges to eat the bad stuff any more. I finished the 1st 24 day challenge at the beginning of the month and it went so well I lost 20+LBS Today I am finishing another 14days and I have lost another 4LBS I am going to guess more since my cycle started and I am a tad bloated lol and the inches I have lost so far is amazing. I am down at least 1 dress size.I wear scrubs for work alot and most of my jeans were a tad tight so I do not know what my true size I was in when starting but I know they are all to big and I can fit nicely into a smaller size I had in my closet for years lol But the best part is how I feel. I have energy and While I have not had the time to work out I find that it is on my mind all the time. I even find that I have a strange goal to run a mini marathon when I get close to my goal weight not sure why lol guess because I see for once that my goal is do able now and I have been trying for 8 yrs to lose this. I had a goal of 94lbs to lose I am now down to 70lbs to lose and so excited to see it work with honestly very little work on my part. If I could work out like I want to I bet it would just fall off. Good luck and feel free to add me or message me if you need support thats what we are all here for :)

WELCOME- AUJ719. I have not heard anyone that didn't love the way they felt after a couple of days on challenge (including myself)! I was skeptical, but the eating plan is so good that I still use it 85% of the time. My body just FEELS better without all the crud (go figure!).

Hi - started my 24 Day Challenge today. Just heard about it last week (hope I'm not making a rash decision) from a friend who had great results last summer. I'm desparate for SOMETHING that'll work with my circumstances. emoticon

My first goal is to begin *losing* weight (last attempt to eat healthy and work out I ended up GAINING 10lbs!), my next goal is to get back down to my wedding weight (I've gained 25lbs in 18 months), and my next goal is to get down to my goal weight which is 40lbs lighter than I am now. I've had a SparkPeople account since 2009 (I think) and looked back at some of my weights...OUCH. How did it get so far outta control?! Here we go! emoticon

Hi I am newer to advocare and have just finished the first 24day challenge yesterday. I am down 22lbs and over 20inches total body loss and that is without exercising I only took the 24day challenge products and followed the eating guide plus all the water and no cheating lol. I am now adding exercise in and one of the extra products called thermoblast tomorrow so I can not wait to see just how fast I can get to my goal. It has taken me 8yrs to lose all this baby fat from having my kids and I have failed every time. I am glad that there is a healthy product out there that has great coaches to help me on my way, I came back to sparkpeople this month to try to track my goals and in hopes that some one else on here maybe using Advocare so I am excited to see a whole team geared toward this. I know I will hit my goals and I hope to make some spark/advocare friends on the way. We can and will do this. God Bless

My name is Shawna, and I'm new to Advocare. I started the 24 day challenge at the recommendation of a friend. I signed up as a distributor for the discount, but don't plan to sell it myself. I am a wife, mom and full time career woman in a stressful job. I am 38 years old and have battled weight my entire life. I am the heaviest I have ever been following the emotional rollar coaster of a miscarriage after years of infertility. Advocare interested me due to the scientific backing and the nutritional aspects of the supplements. Really hoping it will help me feel better and look better!!

I just finished the cleanse phase, and started the burn phase today. I only lost 2 lbs during the cleanse phase, which was a little disappointing, but I'm hanging in through the entire 24 days before I make the decision on whether or not to continue with Advocare. I will base this on the way I feel as well as weightloss.

'My outward circumstances may not change in a day because I did not get here in a day. But with God's help, I will be at least one step from here tomorrow.' Wayne Francis

I ordered my first challenge and it will be here on Tuesday! I am so excited to get started and to bust through this plateau. My body loves to be at this weight but me, not so much. I am hoping that by including exercise, I can lose the ten pounds that I have been fighting with for the last couple of years.

I am in the second round of my max phase. I am down 12.5 lbs now. My pants are getting looser in the waist and in the thigh area. My finace' said my face is looking slimmer. I am very motivated to keep going. I just got engaged this past Friday and now have even more motivation to keep going.

I am loving it.

Welcome to the team MT_GIRL, ALABAMABEACHCAT, and AUNT_JENNY!

So glad to have you here, and I hope we can answer some of your questions.

Aunt_Jenny - sounds like you are here to commit - I commend you for that! It takes courage and effort to change the way you live. It's not easy, but you have a great community with Spark People, and now with AdvoCare to help you through!

AlabamaBeachCat - I did WW for a while, I had ok results, but I was not happy that you couldn't simply incorporate the changes and be "done" with the program - it was a constant effort with no ease-out. Hopefully you will enjoy AdvoCare and SparkPeople and begin to really understand how to make lifestyle changes automatic parts of your daily life!

Mt_Girl - I LOVED the challenge. I lost about 10 pounds, and that was with a cold and not exercising much. Since then I have lost another 5 pounds and dropped my cholesterol by 13% without doing another challenge. Since the challenge, I drink Spark, and I take CorePlex (multi-vitamin), OmegaPlex (omega 3's), and ProBiotic RESTORE on a daily basis, and workout 3-5 days per week. I have just added Catalyst for before workouts, and I love the extra boost it gives me. I eat some of the shakes, bars, etc. as well, but mainly for "quick fixes" in the morning for breakfast when I'm running out the door. For me, AdvoCare is another lifestyle change that I think will be incorporated into my daily life, but if it wasn't their products I was taking, I would still be taking other brands of vitamins, omega 3s, and probiotics...

Hope that helps!

Hi there! I am considering beginning the 24 day challenge on the first of March and would love to hear about everyone's experiences. I have between 10 and 20 pounds that I would like to lose. I have been exercising and changing my diet since the beginning of the year but results are slow. I am hoping that this will kick start my weight loss so that I can focus on maintenance and getting lean. I know that I can stick with the program but wonder about what happens afterwards. Has anyone completed the program and kept it off? Was it easy to do or do you have to keep coming back to the products. Thanks!

Hi everyone - I will be starting the 24-day challenge on Tuesday. I have been going to 6-week boot camps since September 2012. My fitness trainer is a distributor of Advocare and I have purchased the products. I can't wait to get started.

I was on Weight Watchers the entire year of 2011 and "netted" 2 pounds at the end of the year. Very disappointing.

Life is Too Short to Be Unhappy.

SW 7.17.12: 194 lbs.
CW 4.25.14: 188 lbs.
GW#1: 6.1.14: 175 lbs.
GW #2: 7.28.14: 150 lbs.

Hello everyone!
I'm not new to SP or weight loss. I have tried off and on (more off then on) for thee last 15 yrs. The whole time I was fighting this, I was always was like well I'm not over 200 (actually weighed 198). Then the last 2 yrs, particularly the last 7 months; I have jumped over the 200 marker, with leaps & bounds. Then i was like well at least I'm not as round as I am tall. I had a great grandma that way. Then I took a tape measure, and found out that I am only about 10 inches away from being as round as I am tall. emoticon
I stress eat and I need to find a different way to deal with my stress; then eating a whole bag of potatoes chips or going to the nearest taco joint.
Thanks to Facebook, I found AdvoCare. I'm on my second 24 Day Challenge and its going really well.
I am a full-time non traditional college student. I will be done with classes at the end of June, will graduate in December. I also work three part-time jobs.

Progress not perfection.

Hi, I am new to Advocare, but on day 15 of the 24 day challenge and seeing good results, and am noticing with the cheats, I am feeling almost sick so I know my body is changing, down 8 pounds, does anyone have any menu ideas? I could see getting a little bored with the food....thanks for the help!

I continued using the MRS shakes, and I take OmegaPlex, Catalyst, CorePlex, and the ProBiotic Restore Ultra daily. Oh and SPARK!!! Of course. :-)

ThermoPlus is great, but I stuck to CorePlex for no reason in particular. You might consider CarbEase if you are like me and don't want to go low carb ALL the time after the challenge.

I am SO glad I signed up as a distributor. Besides the discount, the team I am with is SUPER helpful, you can call, text, email, facebook, and they always have first-hand experience to give you advice by. Not every team is like that, I've heard, so please do consider that when you are signing up.

And it almost (almost) goes without saying, that I would be glad to have you as a part of our team when you are ready if you are interested!

Nicci, thanks for the advice!

No, not a distributor yet, but thinking about it... would like to try the thermoplus and continue w/ the catalyst and spark even after I'm done w/ the 24 days. It's a bit cost-prohibitive, though, so considering becoming a distributor.

Any advice there?

BLYTHENY, are you a distributor yet?

In addition to what I said yesterday, here is more feedback from my team:

"Try adding an extra fruit or vegetable when you are hungry! An apple or a banana you can take with you in your purse! Or even snap peas, celery or carrots! Everyone could use more green veggies! Or berries!! They have a ton of antioxidants and are so yummy! Strawberries oand blueberries are some of my favs."

"If she is on MNS 3 maybe switch her over to MNS C and she should notice a difference there! Also, be sure she is eating often....every 2-3 hours and something else to consider would be incorporating thermoplus , which burns more fat and helps curb appetite or even leptilean! Jut some thoughts! Hope it helps!"

"Up at 8, spark/mns at 8:02. Breakfast at 8:30... Don't give a chance to get hungry."

I will see what my team can suggest!

I would definitely add in additional snacks/meals when you're up for 24 hours - don't just stretch it out! Veggies tend to last longer than fruit as far as curbing your hunger - but Fruits can cure a sweet tooth and typically have more water in them. Boiled eggs with some pepper on them were my favorite hunger buster - they're portable, taste good, and pack a good protein punch.

On shorter days, you can cut some out, just make sure you get enough protein to support your activities and muscle growth/maintenance.

Nicci, thank you! I'd appreciate any and all help....

My 24 hrs usually looks like this...

Up about 8am... MNS/Spark, 9am... bkfst (eggs w/ peppers), 11am... snack (pb), 1pm pre-lunch MNS colors, 1:30 pm... lunch (hb egg, salad), 3:30 pm... Spark, 5:30 snack + Catalyst, 7pm.... dinner (tuna, salad) + Omegaplex, 9pm snack (nuts)

The foods listed are just an example... sometimes for dinner it's chicken and veggies, sometimes lunch is celery and tuna, that kind of thing.

But at this point I still am up for 10 more hours... so often I will try to stretch out the above schedule, which is probably why I'm starving. ;)

If it's not "stretched out", then I usually bring extra tuna or hb eggs with me, and extra salad and even some fruit, and I bring an extra dose of the Catalyst and a Spark drink with me for the overnight. I usually have some decaf tea, as well, as it gets chilly around 3am. :)

Thanks so much... and any feedback on what to do on my "short days" as far as what meals to pick, which to skip, would be great. (A "short day" is getting up at 3:45pm, back to bed about 10:30.... I don't try to cram all three meals and snacks into that time period, but I am going to try to get all the MNS packets taken. Today is actually my first "short day" on the 14 day burn phase part....)

What does one of your typical 24-hour runs look like? What all do you eat/take at what times usually?

I didn't notice much hunger during either phase, I actually had trouble eating as much food as planned, but I was also sick with 3 different infections (upper respiratory, sinus, and throat) at the time... :-/

I am part of a great team, and if you can give me more info, I can ask them to see what they would recommend!

Hi! I just started the second phase of the 24 day challenge... so far, I am loving it -- except I am hungry ALLLLLLLL the time!! I've ready so many stories of people NOT being hungry that I'm beginning to wonder what's wrong with me... :/

I lost 4 lbs / 4.75 inches in the cleanse phase, and have felt really good, except for the hungry part.

I am wondering if part of it is b/c of my schedule... I am a night-shift RN, and I work 3 12hr nights/week. So, 3x/week I am up for 24hrs, and it is REALLY hard to spread your food out for that long. But even on the days that I get up at 3:45pm and head back to work for 7pm, I find that even with eating something every 2hrs, I am SO hungry.... maybe my body just severly misses the carbs. ;)

Anyone else experience this??

Did your advisor send you the 24 day challenge cookbook? I can if they did not!

After my challenge, I continued to take the MNS 3 packs, the MR shakes, catalyst, and extra omegaplex. I also added fruit & fiber bars and joint promotion.

Awesome! I'm planning to order the DVDs, but it's not time for me to do a cleanse again yet, so no challenge for me.

Good luck on yours! And remember that you have support here if you have any questions!

Awesome! Thanks for that! I looked through some of the FAQs, very good info.

Also, FYI - I started a General Discussion (Across the Fence - Daily Chat) where we can post stuff like this. Seemed odd in the Introduction link... but it didn't really fit anywhere else either. :-)

Yay! Thanks for stopping by and saying hello!

Did you see the new workout videos that are soon to be available? I want to know more - holiday season usually means I can't get to many events.

Glad you're in here, and please do stop by and say hello again soon!

I lost 10 pounds on the cleanse (I still have plenty to lose), and a few more on the Max phase. I'm still losing inches, but not weight necessarily - which is not a bad thing!

I'm glad to hear that you are having success as well! Keep it up!

Thank you, Mistress_Nicci... love that song!

I finished my cleanse yesterday! While I thought i lost 6lbs, I only lost 4lbs when I weighed in this a.m. I am still happy with that, as my weight was going no where but up!

I am ELATED to report, I have lost 2in off my waist and 1in off my neck! I also lost a tad around my bum, but not much. Still, a loss is a loss! My arms and legs stayed the same.. its the family curse from my Dad's side. All my Aunties have big legs!!!

I started my MNS 3 and thermoplus also. I didn't realize that I was suppose to drink the shake for breakfast, so I am going to have it for lunch!

Have a great week!

Hi~ my name is Karah. I have been a member of spark since 2008. When I first started, I weighed over 300 lbs!!! I was 12lbs to my goal weight, then life took over and I have gained almost all my weight back. I was recently introduced to Advocare and today is my last day of cleanse! I have lost some weight and feel great! I am super excited to start MNS 3 tomorrow, along with thermoplus!

There is so much to learn about Advocare. I am super excited there is a group for it!

Hi all! I've been a member of SparkPeople for a while now, but my husband and I just started using and selling AdvoCare products, and let me tell you, we are AMAZED at the results so far. :-). So here I am!

We have 5 members of our household - me, the hubs, a 10 year old, a 6 year old, and a 5 year old. We also have a cat, 2 dogs and 35 chickens. :-)

I work full time and am a member of Larry North Fitness in downtown Fort Worth, which is right near where I work. I typically go over the lunch hour M-Th.

My favorite products are SPARK and OmegaPlex. I've got energy to spare because of Spark, and I dropped my cholesterol more than 13% in just the first 2 months on OmegaPlex. :-)

Thanks!

I did get program information - tomorrow is actually day 24! Though I ended up traveling for work and both eating and exercise suffered, I am still down and feeling good. So I really can't complain!

I ordered some MNS Max 3, spark, and catalyst yesterday so I can continue... though I will continue the eating most of the time even without those.

I'm excited that my kids are now choosing some healthier choices too... my daughter is eating more fruit - and my son is eating more salad and now LOVES celery with peanut butter (which has been my veggie/fat combo for breakfasts on the burn days).

Can't wait to take final measurements on Thanksgiving morning! (I measured my waist this morning and I'm down 2.5 inches!)

As long as you focus on eating better and exercising while on the 24 day challenge you will feel better in the long run. Did you get the phase one and phase two flyer from your sponsor? If not I can email it to you. Hang on tight! emoticon

P.S. AdvoCare ladies stick together! Have you been to a Ladie's Alive & Radiant event?

HI!

I have been on sparkpeople forever (not really, but it seems like it). I lost over 60 pounds a few years ago... but then stopped paying attention and gained 20 back (BOO!!!). I have been kind of trying to get back, but have been stumbling so badly...

A friend from Jr High/High School posted about the 24 day challenge on FB and I investigated and, eventually, ordered it. Today is day 4 and, even dealing with a cold, I am feeling good. I am struggling today... but have not given in! emoticon

I actually started eating better when I ordered ... so I lost 3 pounds on my own, but I'm down 2.6 as of this morning (since starting the 24 day challenge). And, pants that were tight now fit comfortably. Excited to keep with it and see where I end up.

I do wish this group was more active emoticon I could certainly use some "help"!

Hi,

I joined SparkPeople a few days ago and ordered the products for the ADVOCare 24 day challenge Thursday. The products are supposed to arrive Tuesday and I will start the program on Wed.

This is going to be a long road as I am 58 years old and 80+ pounds over what I should be. At 5'0" that's an awful lot to carry on this small frame. I'm looking forward to feeling better.

I'm hoping there will be tips and ideas here and as I move along I want to be able to share tips and ideas for others.

I'm new to this SP team page, and have been on SP for 20 days. In addition to using Advocare, I have lost 3% body fat in two months. I started out with the 24 day challenge, then added more products from the Elite line (GREAT STUFF!) My favorite is the Chocolate Post Workout drink, but gotta have my Spark (grape) daily. Having PCOS makes it very difficult to lose weight, so I'm pleased with the results so far. I'm in it to make a difference in my overall health, so when I'll find my future hubby I can conceive a child emoticon

Feel free to add me as a friend, hope to Spark your day to greatness!

Hi, my name is Penny. I have been with SparkPeople a little over 2 months and have lost 15 pounds, but hit a plateau. I recently decided to try Advocare and became a distributor as well. I am already feeling much more energetic and finding myself wanting to work out more rather than making myself work out. I'm hoping for the continued benefits. I look forward to getting to know you all! Best of luck to each of you!

Hi Dec818,

I have been using Advocare since January. I have lost 38 lbs but then I stopped. I have had a graduation and then vacation in the last month. I am getting back on the program and will begin my next 24 Day Challenge after the 4th of July. I can tell you it works if you use it. I have gained 4 lbs in the last month. But I am pleased with the results. I still take the products but the last month I have not had the time to exercise or eaten like I should. Hope that helps. Let me know how it works for you. Have a great time and good luck.

Hi -

I am starting the 24 day challenge today, and have friends who are having good results. I am wondering if there are people here who have been using the products for several months and what are your results. Also, how are you eating and exercising? What do you think is the best thing that is working for you besides using the products? I have about 80 pounds to lose.

thanks!

Hey everyone! I'm 2 months into using Advocare and have never felt better! I started with the 24 DC and have continued on after that. I'm using the MNS C, Catalyst, Omega Plex and of course Spark! I was using Thermo Plus but didn't order any when I ran out. I wanted to save that for if I hit a plateau, but was wondering about adding in Lepti-Lean. What does everyone think of that product?

Congrats on the 24 Day Challenge. It is a wonderful opportunity you have. I completed my first 24 Day Challenge last January and am beginning a new Challenge on Wednesday. This time my husband is going to do it with me. Iam so excited for the chance to share this experience with my husband. It doesn't matter if you have 0lbs to lose or 200 the bottom line is Advocare works. It makes people healthier and offers an opportunity for better health, wellness and hope.

I am hoping to get this team back up and running. I figue if I have to check this site daily and work on it hopefully it will get more active. So welcome aboard and let me know if you need any help as you continue on your 24 Day Challenge adventure. Hope to hear from you soon.

Nancy

Hi, I'm on Day 4 of the 24-day challenge. I've been watching friends and church people use AdvoCare, and what sold me on finally giving it a try is that it's not just "fat people" using it. It's also healthy athletes, male AND female, that use it and love it. So, I figured, 60-70 pounds to lose in a healthy manner, I'll try AdvoCare. It's expensive, but at 44, it's time to get this under control and I'm tired of being a tired tubolard.

I'm watching my calories but not obsessing about them. I'm drinking a lot more. And I have not yet started exercising but may put those tennis shoes on me and the leash on the dog this afternoon when I get off work.

Now, my question here is .... is this group even still active?

Hello AdvoCare Champions!

My name is Nancy and I am 48 years old. I did the 24 Day Challenge in January. I love the products. I became a distributor so I could get the discount when I order the products. I have been using the products for 2 1/2 months now.

I love the products. I can't say what my favorites are because I love them all and they all have their value. If anything I really enjoy the Spark. I am getting ready to start the 24 Day Challenge again in a week.

I have 150lbs to lose all together. I am down 25 lbs right now from the first challenge. I am so excited because not only did AdvoCare help me lose weight and maintain it. It has also given me hope for a brighter future. I figure it will be another year before I lose all the weight. But then it took me 27 years to pack on the extra pounds. Rome was not built in a day.

So if anyone wants to join me in my next 24Day Challenge let me know. I figure the more support for the challenge the more successful I will be. I have 3 friends who are going to do it with me and watch out we are holding etch other accountable. emoticon

Hi All!
I have only been on Spark People for about 3 weeks. Was on once before and was not ready to make a comittment. I think I am ready now! I have been an Advocare Advisor since June 2010. I love Advocare products but I also want to improve my clean eating habits. I do have a tendency to lose motivation and I know that I am an emotional eater. Okay, I think this is enough for now!!

Hello All,
I'm new to the group and fairly new to Advocare... I've been taking the products now, for about 2 week, and so far I love the way I feel. I will be starting my 24 Day Challenge in about a week. I've heard great things about it, so I'm really looking foward to it. I signed up to be a distributor about a week ago, so I'm still learning the ins and outs of the business, but so far the products speak for themselves.

Hopefully, I can learn a few things here in this forum!! emoticon

Hi Luv,

I felt the same way as you when I first started! I am not a pill popper! If there is a natural way I will try it first. I had been eating healthy for a while and still had no energy. A quick trip to the doctor and a few tests later found that I am low in Iron and a few other important essentials and although I had a good diet I just wasnt getting all that I needed so my friend told me about advocare. All I can say is the best results I have ever had from a vitamin. I felt the difference with 2 days! I am still on the vitamins and am now doing the cleanse. The cleanse is great as well I feel no lack in energy, I am not tied to the bathroom and the great thing is you are encouraged to eat a healthy sensible diet while on the cleanse. I will warn you though - if you do not put something like orange juice or apple juice in the fiber drink you will have a hard time keeping it down. I did fresh squeezed orange juice so as not to have any extra sugar. What a difference!

And I agree beware you might like the product. I know I did and I will never stop taking my vitamins! And I love the V16 on those days I need a little extra boost! BTW Doctor Oz commissioned an independent lab to testing on over the counter vitamins and supplements recently and found that Advocare's Omegaplex and Probiotics were the best around. Check it out on DoctorOz.com

Good luck,
Tracy

Hiya and welcome!!

You don't have to sell (though sometimes it ends up happening!) and you don't HAVE to be a lifer though I have yet to know someone who hasn't stuck with at least one product because of how it made them feel....just forewarning!! emoticon

1. How long were you on it, how much did you lose? I have been on it for about 8 months. Have lost 25 lbs and have kept it off. Still have about 15 to go or so.

2. Are you still taking the products to maintain your weight? I started taking it originally more for increase in energy than weight loss and the amount of energy I have now compared to where I was is ENOURMOUS. I am a Spark drinker for life, Catalyst user for muscle support, and MNS strips for my vitamins. I had been taking a plethora of vitamins anyways so for me this isn't a huge jump for me.

3. After reaching your target are you able to maintain with just exercise & eating healthy? Not there yet....

4. Can you detail how the 24 day challenge works? I would like to get this info before I purchase the product.

Jen outlined it pretty well. I have some documents that I can email you that really spells out the cleanse (timing and such) if you would like me to send it to you. My group is working on doing the same for the last 14 days.

Hope this helps!!

Hello and welcome to the board! I have been taking AdvoCare for a couple of months now and absolutelylove the products. Here are my answers:

1. How long were you on it, how much did you lose? Been on it for 2 months and am down 26 pounds
2. Are you still taking the products to maintain your weight? still losing! Once I lose the weight I need to I will continue to use the products.
3. After reaching your target are you able to maintain with just exercise & eating healthy?
4. Can you detail how the 24 day challenge works? I would like to get this info before I purchase the product.
You start out doing the 10-day cleanse. This consists of: fiber drink, priobiotics, Omegaplex, spark and meal replacement shakes for breakfast. On day 11 you incorporate your MNS vitamin pack, continue with spark, and if you choose continue with the meal replacement shakes. There is a list of foods to eat, and those to avoid. That's really about it! There is no measuring of your foods - eat until you are satisfied.
The Challenge will give a good jump start on your path to your continued weightloss.
Let us know if you decide to do it!!

Hi:

I have been on SP since 2007/8 and have lost and gained and am on the path to losing again. Of course age and hormones works against you. I am in a fitness bootcamp at my gym and thru hard work and eating right, I have lost about 8-9 lbs and several inches. My trainer suggested I try the 24 day challenge.

I am not a pill popper by nature and wanted to get some input. I have no intention of becoming a seller of this product. Neither do I want to take it for the rest of my life. So, my question to those of you who have used this product is:

1. How long were you on it, how much did you lose?
2. Are you still taking the products to maintain your weight?
3. After reaching your target are you able to maintain with just exercise & eating healthy?
4. Can you detail how the 24 day challenge works? I would like to get this info before I purchase the product.

Thanks..

Glad to have you a part of our Team! There is no "one spot" to check in, so feel free to post in any thread.
I am fairly new to AdvoCare products, but I just love them. My favorite is the Mango-Strawberry Spark. I just added Catalyst to my regimen, and am hoping to see some great results.
Be sure to check-in often so we can keep each other motivated!

Hi Rhonda - thank you! I am someone who loves the products. I was an distributor when I first tried advocare two years ago. I am signing back up as a distributor, I just have a lot on my plate right now. I have used spark in the past but actually prefer the V16 with no caffeine.

I am looking forward to being an active member on this team. Is there a specific post that everyone just goes to chat?

Hi my name is Tracy. I have been with SP since 2005 I believe. It has been a while since I have been on here and of course my weight is back up where I started. I started advocare about two years ago but never really got into the products until recently. My favorite is the Coreplex vitamins with iron. For the last few years I have been very sluggish always feeling like I was a lazy person but really too tired to do anything about it...instead I would push thru any deadlines feeling miserable and crabby and just getting them done to be done. Now since I have been on the vitamins I feel great - I get things done. I am currently on the 10 day cleanse and am enjoying it as well. I from time to time need a pick me up and the V16 is my fav for that. Products I am going to start using as soon as the cleanse is up .....night time recovery, and post workout recovery drink....

My goal with advocare is to feel like my old self again - healthy, fit and energetic - I would also like to see some of my friends and family benefit from it as well...
