I wouldn't ry it on your own just yet. As for the bars, they're not my choice for lunch but they are good to have around in case you go out for lunch. Then you can have a salad with a protein then eat the bar as a lunch "dessert". I do that whenever I go out for lunch. I customize my orders on the NS site. It's easy and you can pick exactly what you want.
You also can use the foods as ingredients to make different entrees. For example, one of my favorites is to use the three cheese chicken and pasta cup to make an awesome casserloe type thing. I add 3/4 cup boiling water to the cup, cover it and let it sit while I put 3 oz frozen cooked chicken breast (lunch Powerfuel) into a saucepan. I add at least a cu of Great Value asparagus stir fry (you could use any frozen non starchy veg), some herbs (I use thyme) then cook until hey are no longer frozen. Stir the NS cup, add it and cook a few more minutes. It is so good!
