Good morning. Thank you for the invitation to join the group! I am eager to see these goals succeed this year; I am really feeling that it is possible to do. Over the years I have gained weight and of course as one gets older, we move about less and have less energy. I would like to lose 50-60#, am having a hard time even adjusting to the fact that I am now considered "obese" when I don't think of myself that way. The weight is pretty much centered in the middle so from the back, I look pretty darn good LOL.

Hi there! My name is Cristy. I'm a 41 mom of three - 4 (next month), 9 and an 11 year old boy going on 21! I LOVE Spark. I know my numbers don't reflect this but I did it about a year ago and lost 20 pounds. Of course, I got quite confident and gained it all back AND some. But, in a weird way, I'm kinda back I'm back. I'm much more invested this time. I'm doing the steps and I am making a true effort to LEARN. I am so super duper tired of yo-yoing. THIS IS IT. So here I am. I stay home, I'm kinda dorky, and I'm always ready to offer support and be part of a team. LET's DO THIS!

Well, I fell into this team by chance, but I am always looking for additional support to help me on this journey.
About me: Name Laurie, married for 12 years to my high school sweetheart, 2 kids a 9(going on 21) year old daughter and a 9 month old son. I am a special education teacher who works primarily with students on the autism spectrum. I am also the Mandt trainer and one of the Autism consultants for my district. I am finishing my graduate degree hopefully this semester.
My weight loss story; fat for as long as I can recall. Big family with all functions including food (lots of tasty, less than healthy types). Problems with health and infertility, I gave up on getting pregnant, changed focus and lost 80 lbs. Got pregnant, lost my way, and now almost 50 lbs gained back I am at it again.
