Hi Twinkle - we are all in this team struggling thru our arthritis pain but we are not giving up. You have taken a great step by joining Sparks. We all know what we want - to be able to enjoy life and be healthier. As long as you keep walking or doing anything where you are moving around everyday that is great. We are not trying to run a marathon here. If you do too much and hurt too much you will feel discouraged. Do what you can for exercise and pat yourself on the back that you are doing a great job watching what you eat.
Cheers
Allie

Welcome Twinkle,

We are a small but mighty group and I am very glad that you decided to join us. We all have our pains and just need to do what we can and watching what we eat is the most important part of our life. Make sure that you drink LOTS of water daily. That is what helps to get the toxins out of your body as you lose and it also helps to keep the joints lubricated.

I know the feelings with the knees. I have a cardio glide I work out on whenever my sciatic nerve and knees let me. With the issues that our body gives us, we just need to do what we can, when we can as far as exercise goes.

Feel free to post any articles that you read that would give us some insight and encouragement. We are all here to support each other and hope that you will be able to find some motivation and encouragement from us.

Doris

I have a very hard time exercising due to pain. I have arthritis in my neck and shoulders and also have bad hip and knees. I just try to watch what I eat closely and that seems to help. On descent days I try to walk but if I do anything else I end up hurting myself and making my pain worse than it already is.
