Hi! My name is Theresa. I have been using Sparkpeople for almost 3 months now and have not posted anything yet. Guess I just didn't know what to say, but I am so happy with this site and with my results so far that I just decided I should share.
I started using Sparkpeople about a week after i decided that i had reached my limit and had to do something! My weight had climbed to 198 lbs! ( And since I'm only 5 ft. that is a lot) i was finding that I was having difficulty with pains in my legs when walking and decided that i had to do something NOW or else.
Well almost 3 month later, using the website to track my nutrition and activity, I am now down 30 lbs.! I still have 40 more to go, but I already feel like a new person. I am exercising daily, yoga twice a week, and the gym the other days for strength training M, W, Fr, and cardio the other 2. I've discovered how good it makes me feel and can't figure why I waited so long to start!
