Thank you. It's nice to hear that even though I don't have time to go at this full-force it can still pay off. I wish I had more hours in the day. But don't we all? emoticon

emoticon Greetings Robin - glad to have you onboard!

Wow you sure have a full plate. All the more reason to find some time just for you!!

Moving slow is good!! Just remember The Tortoise and The Hare - it takes slow, steady steps to win the race!!! And really, a healthy lifestyle is a process - more of a journey than a destination. Making gradual changes - ones that are reasonable, doable and sustainable for the long run will lead to the permanent results you're hoping for.

Hi. My name is Robin. I am a 32-year-old single mom to 4. My oldest is almost 14 and my youngest is 18-months. I work part-time at Old Navy and go to school full-time at Jefferson College of Health Sciences. I have been overweight my whole life, but became obese with my first pregnancy. I didn't gain any weight with the other three pregnancies, but I still haven't lost the weight from the first one.
I don't really have any kind of support system around me, so I'm counting on you to help. I need all the support I can get. I am addicted to food. I love it. I don't think that I'm an emotional eater, I just like food. I need to start eating healthier and watching my portions.
I joined a gym a couple of months ago, and was attending regularly. Since school started back for me and the kids, I have been too busy to go. So, I'm wasting my money. The kids love going with me because they love to swim. I just think that I need to readjust my life. I don't think that my priorities need to be changed, just that I need more organization so that I have more time. (If that's possible.)
Anyway, it's nice to meet you!!
