Hi!
My name is Judy and I am so glad to have found this team! I did a fast in February for 21 days that was very strict vegan. It was completely different from my "normal diet"! In that time, I lost the bloated feeling I tended to always have, my energy increased, and I just felt great all around. I lost 7.5 pounds as well! During this 3 week period, I bought Alicia's book and have begun reading it. What a great book! It's been a week since I ended my fast and that old familiar feeling of "yuck" is coming back after incorporating some of my former foods and I really don't want that. I'm not sure if I'm going to start vegetarian or just "go for it" and start vegan. This is due mainly to how I need to adjust my husband and our son to the permanent changes I want to make. 21 days is one thing. A permanent lifestyle change is another!
