Thank you..This is a great resource..Guess looking for exercises I can do in a small apt. until I can get to gym..I have muscle weakness in legs , ..Im looking to drop my Buddha belly and muffin hips..specific ones for these area...I'll keep rooting around on here..

Thank you for listening..It is common sense..Smaller, porions will be my key...and plenty of constant exercise..So many good ides on SP..

Hi and welcome to the team, as well as to Spark People!

I think we all mostly read articles, focus on good nutrition and exercise, and just go from there. For example, today's calories for me are in a good range (1482) - but dinner was a slice and a half of pizza, followed by some coffee cake. Not diet food, but limited portions, lots of vegs on the pizza, and the coffee cake is part whole wheat and I used yogurt instead of sour cream, so the fat is a bit lower. You learn to make healthy substitutions, and how to make better choices.

So read those articles, read people's blogs, and you'll do this!

Greetings from Seattle....Been POZ 5 years, clean 3 1/2, and on meds for 1 1/2 yrs. don't know how to start really. Weight gained since April 2008, about 50..Also gave up smoking, but obviously have picked up some bad habits..Spark People looks like a fantastic resource.I would just like to find good nutrition plan, stick to it, and start seeing progress.. Discouragement..
