If you log your food on SP it syncs over to FB, so don't put any food in FB or you will have duplicate numbers, which are most likely to be off

I've been with SP for a long time (2008), but I just bought my very first FB (Flex) yesterday. I'm very excited about using my Flex as a tool towards better health and fitness.
So, I'm just getting things straight since the using SP with FB page at the FB website now seems to be gone. I guess what I do is log my food here with SP so that it sends to FB rather than the other way around? Yesterday, I logged my food at FB and see that it didn't send it to SP. I disabled the Food Plan feature and set my own maximum calorie limit for food, since FB only was allowing me 600-900 calories per day.
