I don't know if this will help- but if you go to your dashboard on fitbit you will see a list of your friends on the right hand side. If you "hover" over their name- there is a place to "send a message"- you can also "cheer" them or "taunt" them!

Awwwwww sweetie..seems like a challenging time for you. Take a deep breathe and deal with one thing at a time and don't get caught up in what you can't control at the moment. You know things will get better, just stay focused on one thing at a time so it won't feel so overwhelming. You know we are here for you, so hang in there. emoticon

Here is a whole BOATLOAD of sympathy!! I'd just keep trying on the sleep feature - I wear my fitbit on the armband at night and it works well as long as I remember to 'stop' it in the morning. Plus you can use it in the middle of the night (just one click, not a long one like you use to stop it) to see how many hours you've been in bed. I like that as I try to keep light to a minimum in my bedroom.

ONLY sleep do I manually enter it. I don't care if that syncs to sp or not. I let my steps and calories sync over naturally

And since I am wearing it at night the calories burned during sleep automatically sync over as do any steps I take when going to the bathroom at night

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much

Manually logging sleep won't do---the fitbit measures activity? I think? during sleep and gives you an idea of your sleep quality. Judging from the times it has worked it looks fairly accurate! I think mostly what I need is practice---maybe a new computer? LOL
(Edit) Oh, and lots and lots and lots of sympathy!!! emoticon Sympathy does wonders for me! LOL

hope things get better for you. what is having with your sleep tracker is one of the reasons I manually enter my time going to bed and waking up in manually

I'm just a big beautiful pile of whining-isms today! I did get my fitbit, I have such trouble with the sleep tracker---I push the button until it blinks and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, the only thing I can think is that the button gets pushed again sometime during the night? I don't know.....Then my computer cooked. Well done. I am on a back up right now, really tempted to go have it completely erased and restored but that will take time and my live in computer tech will be gone until Sunday. Now for the worst part, I have lots of fitbit friends and haven't figured out how to socialize with them. Granted, I am at a horrible time in my fibramyalgia life right now and am having a lot of trouble concentrating on everything but I sure hate to think I just ignore them! Sorry all!!!! emoticon emoticon
