once it is synced go to your fitness page and hit sync my fitbit to bring your information over from there.
then go to your nutrtion page , scroll down towards the bottom of the page and you will see sync my food with sp. I truly believe there is a problem with this recently as my food is now going over there in triplicate. I posted the information on how to correct this yesterday in a thread for the person who was was trying to sync food with their fb under general discussion.
I truly believe though this is a problem on the SP side but Fb's customer service is going to check it out for me.

I'm returning to SparkPeople after a lengthy absence. It's been 1 & 1/2 years of major health problems & multiple surgeries. Then a friend showed me her FitBit & I was anxious to get started. Originally used it to keep me from doing too much too soon after back surgery. Saw my endurance increasing, so decided to return to using SP to track my food.
No instructions came with the FB regarding how to sync with SP. Eventually was told how to make that connection. Now my FitBit steps syncs to SP, but the food I enter in SP does not sync to FB. Any ideas?
