I finally caved and got a fitbit. My sister warned me I would become addicted, and I kind of am already :) I got one for my husband, also, and he's even more into this than I am. After the first couple of hours, he was already worried about his calorie intake. He's lost almost 4 lbs in a week and a half wearing the fitbit and I've lost 2 lbs. It really helps to keep track of calories compared to our activity levels! Boy were we surprised to find out how many calories our supper was worth last night, especially the pie my in-laws brought over for supper. Oh, boy, did we work out a lot today!! I'm excited for this new endeavor, and I'm having fun comparing numbers with my sister and husband :)
