Glad to help...are you able to sync now?
Regarding the calories burned statement, FB not only records your fitness calories it provides you with the number of calories you burn on a daily basis or your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). This would be the number of calories your body requires in order to function for a day. Your FB calculates this number based on your gender, age, weight, height, and other factors. You can calculate your own BMR by clicking on this link: www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/
Any activity you do (and I mean ANY!) adds calories to this figure which is what your FB displays. What is great about your FB is that the device will give you a picture of where you are for that time of the day. You can go to your DASHBOARD on the FB site and obtain an estimate of how many calories you are projected to burn by the end of the day. As your FB gets to know you, this figure will be more exact.
I know this is a lot of information to digest but hopefully it provides you with a better picture of just how amazing your FB really is!
