Hello I too am new to the fitbit craze and I have to say it is the best thing I have ever spent money on. I have the fitbit one and my flower is the main thing I keep my eye on. At the end of the day it is fun to see my distance and how many steps i've taken and how many stairs i've climbed, I love waking up in the morning and seeing how i've slept (and not just feeling tired or refreshed), but the flower seems to be the most motivational for me (the badges are a lot of fun too). My weight kept bouncing around and I wasn't losing any weight, now I have my fitbit, it is the reason for my loss.

Lots on here have accidentally washed their fitbit. One suggestion should it happen again is to put it in rice and let it see if that helps draw out some of the mositure Otherwise try writing the company. A lot of times they are doing a complimentary replace for you if still within the warranty period
Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much A true friend reaches for your hand but touches your hea

I'm new to the team. I had a fitbit in 2011 and accidentally washed it ... oops, not good on the fitbit, don't recommend trying that. I finally got a new fitbit cause I missed it and have gotten off track with my weight loss. I remember how successful I was when I was able to look at my fitbit through the day to see if I was on track with my steps, calorie burn and distance. Can't wait to get some steps under my shoes and find some new motivational friends!!!!!
