MIATIA1, sorry to hear that you lost your fitbit. One of the other users lost hers and found it several weeks later under the drivers seat in her car. Have you checked there? Hope it shows up.

That is my favorite kind of 'success' story!! Mine came in May 2011 when we went on a 3 week hiking trip in National Parks out west. All the walking I'd been doing at home REALLY paid off - I was able to hike most of the day and not be totally wiped out at night. Its what I think SP calls FUNctional Fitness!! Gotta love it!!

Love my Fitbit. I received mine for Mother's Day and it is a part of me now. I feel undressed without it.

I have had mine since last march and LOVE IT. It truly is a part of me

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much

For those that are new to Fitbit or thinking of it, so worth it!
I won the Ultra and got it right after Thanksgiving, great timing!
I was not in bad shape, but definitely noticing my body changing as I got to mid 40s, so wanted to do something different this winter. The Fitbit has made all the difference! Boy seeing how sedentary I was every day was a shocker! Now I make a point to get up on a regular basis, at work and at home, and it's made a huge difference.
My weight didn't change at first but my clothes fit better and my legs are more toned, this month I've lost a couple of pounds. The true test was today, we went down Cape and walked for an hour and a half on the beaches, against high winds, and not only did I feel great when we got home, we walked the dog for 45 minutes then I went on my mini trampoline to get my calorie goal and I feel great! In the fall if I tried that I would have been very sore.
A friend of mine that's been struggling with her weight got the Zip, and loves it.
The best part was not setting the stride! That never worked right for me with other pedometers. Plus I love that it tracks every day, so easy!
