Welcome to the team.

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much
Hi, I'm Kristin from York, PA. I'm 39, married with no kids but 7 "furkids" - a cocker spaniel named Abbie and 6 cats - Karma, Mojo, Loki, Neko, Freya & Simba. Most are feral rescues and they definitely make our lives interesting.
Health-wise, I'm right on track to becoming diabetic. My mom & dad both are, and I'm overweight so that means I am too. My last fasting glucose was 124, so I'm considered prediabetic now. Time to stop that. I also have slightly high cholesterol. I'm ready to make a change and the fitbit is helping me get there.
I LOVE my fitbit - it's such a great motivational tool! I have the fitbit one, I got it for free through my work's wellness program. I now track everything I eat, I walk as much as I can and I'm on my way to becoming a healthier person.
Nice to meet everyone! If anyone wants to be friends on fitbit.com, I think you can find me by my email - email@example.com.
