I dont just want my pictures to be amazing come our wedding day I want to be sure to begin our marriage with the promise of longevity and health. We dont have the exact date set but come May 2012 It is happening! Having just encountered the ugly side of genetics and autoimmune diseases (celiacs) I have had to change my diet completely. So not only am i trying to watch what I eat for weight loss reasons, for my over all health.. the learning curve for going gluten free is steep (Gluten is in damn near everything).
I have a total of 10-20 lbs that i want to lose, give or take with my muscle mass gain in the process. My plan is to save money while getting in shape, so for now I am trying to avoid the gym. It helps that I live in Southern California and summer time is perfect for outdoor fitness (hello gorgeous tan!).
My plan is gradual because I have the grace of time. I have never been a runner so I am going to start with walking regularly and adding interval training 2 weeks in. I am going to add yoga and pilates into my daily routine from the start and down the road may look at plyometrics with programs such as P90x. Depending on my results plans will change but I figure a strict regimen with diet and exercise(where I have been slacking) and I should start to see results in gradual progression with my training.
The difficulty with all of this is that I am a great starter but rarely a finisher, so with my fiance's help I hope that I can keep on track as best as possible. Here is to the perfect wedding day for you all and a healthy marriage! I look forward to progressing with you all !
