Delbert. Quite a lift. My personal best is quite a bit below that. Good form is essential to make sure we don't hurt ourselves and be able to correctly isolate the muscle groups you are working on in your lifts. There are quite a few lifters here in the group. Hello All, My name is Delbert Carr and I have recently started to include weights in my weight loss program. I used to lift weights in high school but my knowledge was not extensive. I have been seeing a lot of gains and am very excited about strength training! I have been lifting habitually for about 6 months now and am happy to say I broke my personal high school benching record of 300 by putting up 315! That being said I really want to try not to go too heavy but concentrate on form so I don't hurt myself so I am trying to learn all I can. Thus why I am here. Nice to meet you.
