Welcome, Richard! Praise God that you are in remission. I maybe in remission also from stage 3 lung cancer. I have one more test next week to see if the metabolic activity in my lungs is the cancer or residual radiation. I believe in positive thinking also! I think I have been in denial about my cancer and never believed I was going to die. I think it has made a difference in my prognosis. I was diagnosed last October, so it has only been 1 year and 1 month for me, but I am doing very well. I hope to see you in the chat room!

2015 is the year that I want to stop recovering and start living again!

I have been laying in bed, recovering from cancer, chemo and radiation and all it's side effects for 2 years.
I feel I have 'recovered' now and it's time to move on!

Welcome to the team Richard! I'm glad to hear you are in remission.

My name is Shari; I have been a Sparker since July 2006, I am now in palliative care for stage IV breast cancer, but I'm not letting cancer stop me from Sparking!

Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.

Hello everyone. I am Richard and I have a rare type of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Diagnosed in 2009. Endured several rounds of chemo but managed to push the cancer into remission where it has stayed to this day. It was indeed a battle but one I would give any day. I am a firm believer in modern meds but even more so the power of positive thoughts and wonderful family support. Glad to begin meeting people and hope to talk in the near future.
