Well I kinda laughed at my co workers who were all into the Twilight thing when it all came out a couple of years agao...and a few months ago I was at a friend's place and her daughter was watching one of the movies...and I got 'hooked'. So I went out and bought all the books and read them in 2 days!!!! And now they all laugh at me at work...but hey...I'm my own Bella and I love the characters!! The books are so much better but the movie's are good too!!! I'm 43....is this what happens to us....we start relieving our teenage years??? emoticon

Hi 19kathy53! I'm 48 and love love love Twilight. I read the books (each one taking less than 4 days to read) and saw the movies. The books do have alot more details but they stayed pretty true to the basic storyline with the movies. I was team Edward and Team Jacob as well. That is until Sam Ulley came into the picture....in the movie. Now I'm team Chaske. I met him at a few events and he is so nice....doesn't hurt that he is hot too. Try getting the books and you won't be sorry. You can even get them at alot of libraries.

Hi yall. I just found this group and thought it might be fun. Im 58 in August and have all the twilight movies but need the books. Ive heard books are usually better because you can put more in them than in a movie. I hate to be the odd man out (or woman lol) but im partial to both edward and jacob equally. Just saw Remember Me not too long ago. Whst else has he played in other than Water for Elephants, which i havent seen yet?

Hi Brenda,

I am a Twilight fan also, even more a Edward Cullen/Robert Pattison fan. I am 53 years old and am totally in love with Edward. I have looked into Robert's past movies so far I have seen, How to Be, The Bad Mother's Handbook, Remember Me, I have just recently got Love and Distrust and look forward to seeing Water for Elephants. I do enjoy Robert's acting but I still love Edward. He is everything I would ever want in a man. I have memorized every word Edward has ever spoken in each of the Twilight movies. I am not much for reading so I am still slowly working my way thru the first Twilight book. I have seen Twilight, New Moon and especially Eclipse more than 100 times each. In fact, I often go to sleep listening to Eclipse.
I have pictures of Edward/Robert on my desk at work. So I think I have a slight obsession to him. The way I use the Twilight series to motivate me is by working towards dropping more weight before the next movie release date. Well, enjoy you obsession, I know I do.

Take care,
Donna emoticon

Okay, I admit it..I'm a die hard Twihard. I'm also a Twimom, and I'm 44 years old. What is worse is I love Robert Pattinson, I mean obsessed, I've watched all his movies, even the old Indie ones, but the worse part is...he turns 25 May 13th..my son turned 25 March 9th. lol.
My husband knows all about my obsession, and fully supports it by buying me team Edward stuff. He's tagged a long to all the movies. I have all the books which I read in order over and over and over again. I have The Twilight movie completely memorized word for word...I kid you not. Whenever I'm really board I put Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Remember Me, and How to Be in my DVD player which is a 5 disc player, and watch them back to back. I know it's pathetic. On a positive though...it helps motivate me with my weight loss....I mean look at Bella, Rosalie, Alice, Esme', etc. They all look great. Makes me wanna look great too. :) If there is anyone else close to my age, even half as obsessed as I am, send me a message.
