Sometimes it is also how much you are eating. If you are exercising too much and not eating enough, you wont loose. I hit the plateau at 141 (from 172), 11 weeks of that... then again at 135, and that is where I am now... have been for 8 weeks.... I talked to my doctor about it, he said that our bodies get to a point and say, OK, I am happy here, I am not starving, I have enough to make me run comfortably.... and that it takes consistency and perseverance to get beyond

that point.

I've been where you are.
Are you doing the same exercises since you started, or the same routines? If so, your body has gotten to used to it and your metabolism has slowed. Add some spice/variety to your workout and your meals.
And don't give up or get discouraged. All of us hit a plateau at some point in our diets. Don't look at it as being stuck. Think of it as a lifestyle change and take it one day at a time.

Hi, I'm Monica, I have about 20 pounds left to lose. I already lost 25 pounds. I have seemed to hit a plataeu. I can't get out of the 170s. and I gave up and gained 5 pounds in the last month. I was down to 172, and went up to 177. I am determined to get out of the 70s and stay out. I just need a kick and some motivation. This team looks like its going to help me on my way!

If I don't take care of myself, who will?
