Keep that determination and you WILL do it this time. It's totally understandable that you may miss logging on for a few days at a time due to vacations and such. It happens to me a lot on the weekends. :) I just always have to make it a point to log on first thing Monday morning to try to get back in the groove. Just don't give up! YOU GOT THIS!!

Thanks for the input. I seem to be able to track for a few weeks and I agree it really holds me accountable, but then some event or mini vacation comesw along and I totally lose focus. I REALLY want to overcome this obstacle this time!

The first thing I had to do is fully commit myself to becoming a healthier me. I set a goal to log in to Sparks at least once everyday. If it was half hour before my bedtime and I realized I forgot to log in all day...I had to fight the urge to say "I'll just do it tomorrow" Logging on for even 15 min a day and reading message boards or articles helped me stick with the program. Remember, it only takes 2-3 weeks to create a habit, good or bad. Make it a part of your daily routine to spend at least 15 min a day here, more when possible. Sign up to receive the Spark e-mails with recipes and motivational or informative articles. Sometimes, this is enough to keep me motivated and strong on days when I know I won't have much time to log in. Hope this helps!

Welcome back. I also have not been participating with Spark for a few months but have made it my goal in 2008 to get rid of the weight. I find that if I put in my nutrition and exercise every day, it helps keep me on track. I've also decided that if I am going to snack, it has to be something healthy, like fruit. Let's try to start the new year right and keep getting rid of weight!

Hi, I joined Spark people quite some time ago. I get on a roll for a few weeks then I just stop. This year I am making a promise to myself that I will stick with this until I reach my goal...Any motivational ideas are welcome!
