Hi Missnuss,

welcome to the team. It doesn't matter what training you have as long as you are a Rescuer at heart....

I am an RN and used to do Road & Air Rescues, but am now working in Administration.
Your Park Rescue Team sounds interesting.

We hope to hear more from you and get to know you better.

Love
Steph

Hi all. I am on a Search and Rescue Team for a National Park. I was looking for a team who understood the need to keep in shape for those times when you need it, yet faced with the problem that you don't always use it (i.e lack of motavation sometimes) I am 19 and have been on the team for two years. I am a cpr/aed/first aid instructor (big whoop, I know) and while I can put on traction splints and stuff, I am working on getting the Wilderness First Responder certification so its all official like. Can I join the team even though I am not a EMT or FF? Thanks emoticon

Friends help you find dates. SAR friends help you find bodies.

Trauma Junkie: It's not that I want you to get hurt, I just want to be there when you do.
