I'm newish to this group (been lurking for awhile). I'm in my second bouting season now, after starting derby in Oct 2010. I'm with the Soul City Sirens. I'm super excited to work on my fitness outside of derby. I've really noticed a big difference in my speed and endurance since I've been running. I just need to be more consistent in my running (need to set specific days for it, instead of just running here and there).
