And, if you're anything like me, you'll probably eat a lot more gummi worms ...

An average worm having a dry weight of 33 mg is 0.7 nutritional calories. A gummy worm is 110.

everybody! Over the last couple days, I started thinking how I should make the next five weeks till Christmas really count. I set new healthy lifestyle goals and now I'm ready to take on the holiday season.

It is good to get a head start. Did you hear the early bird gets the worm.

I'm with you. Why wait or postpone being healthy until some arbitrary date?

Ha ha! I've TOTALLY rationalized my holiday eating with that train of thought, too!
Here is my favorite train of thought: If I eat more during the holidays, then I have more weight when I start my diet on Jan 1. (or 2nd) which makes it easier to lose more weight faster at the beginning, which is highly motivating, which will help me stay with my diet longer ... So stuffing myself is actually good for my diet. Made total sense to me - but never worked ... So I guess, you have the better plan

Good for you! I, too, am trying to avoid that holiday mindset that I can start my diet another day-- why put off my goals?
That being said, sometimes it's easier said than done!! I'm hosting an early Thanksgiving this Sunday, and it's really hard for me to stay on track, knowing I have that temptation coming up! Why do holidays have to revolve so heavily around food?

I'm with you, WANNA-BE-FIT, why wait til New Year's Eve to make resolutions, when we can make goals today? Here's to accomplishing what you set out to do!

I am looking to get into shape for the summer. I was going to start all this NYE but we (as of today) have 6 weeks to go till that day comes. I figure if I start NOW ... I will Hit The Ground Runnin' come that 6 week mark!
Yup, I'm ready to kick My Butt~!
5 ... just 5 more reps. 4,3,2,1.
Now do 5 more, & then 5 more after that ...
& just when you think you can't do 1 more, do 5 more !!!
