Here look at this one - you could probably skip the first week though

You will need to slow down on the longer runs - but it will happen faster in the race - you just need to build up your endurance.

The race is mid September and very hilly. I run an easy 9 minute mile and can maintain that for five miles. It's after 5 that it becomes tiresome. I notice mostly when I'm finished because it wipes me out for the rest of the day.
I've looked up a few training planners but none seem to be just what I'm looking for - most half marathons.

When is this race? What is your current base mileage? There are training planing out there, but you may have to train for like a half and over mileage yourself.

I've recently committed to running in a 10 mile race. It's a tradition in my city and family, yet I have not run it. I have three brothers and they've all run this race(not pretty but finished). Now it's my turn. I'm in good physical condition, I just have to mentally prepare and get the miles under my belt.
