So far so good - I jumped back in May - and have lost 5 pounds - still a lot to go but so far things seem to be working. It does seem to take abou 3 days to recover from a trip - which is a pain - but we shall see.
Welcome back! I hope that you find that the support of Spark helps you accomplish those goals! I've sparkfriended you. If you could do the same to me, then your blogs with your progress will show up on my friend feed!
The time for action is now. It's never too late to do something. -Antoine de Saint-Exupery
I joined SparkPeople in 2009 and just floundered due largely to a lack of motivation. I never participated in any of the forums, callenges, or anything.
I'm back now but with a different attitude. This time I am planning to actually participate, loose weight and get active. Not only am I going to work at this online with SparkPeople I have decided to participate in the American Diabetes Association's annual Tour de Cure event this year. I have opted to attempt the 62 mile ride on June 23 in Mustang Oklahoma.
Hope I can do it. It's been years since I have ridden. If you want to follow my progress just visit my home page. I am going to keep a running blog of my progress, training, and other activities.
