Welcome to the team Cindy!
Mothers Of Multiples Team Leader!
Hi Cindy, Welcome!
OH MY GOODNESS...a 2 year old AND twins?! My hat is off to you, as I can barely keep afloat with my twin girls, who will be 3 this month. They are wonderful, but I admire all of you parents of multiples plus more!
It is incredibly hard to get back on track. This is a great place to start.
We are all here for you, and I look forward to hearing about your progress!
Congratulations and welcome to our team! I'm impressed that you're motivated to get back on track already! It took me 4 years after my twins were born before I had the "brain-power" and time to get back on track. I always look at the first year of having twins as the survival year - do whatever it takes to survive the first year and try not to place too many demands on yourself. Not to mention, that you have an older son vying for your attention, too!
Even though I didn't do much exercising while the twins were young, I did try to take lots of walks with them in the stroller - I recommend a double stroller that has a place for your older son to sit as well (my daughter just turned 3 when my twins were born, and I'd have her sit on the top handle-bar section of the stroller facing me... Not too comfortable for her, but it worked.)
Good luck and keep us posted as to how you're doing!

8 months ago I had 2 beautiful identical twin girls the day after my son turned 2. It has been a roller coaster. The girls have reflux and so there has been a lot of crying and not a lot of sleep. I am currently using these things as a bit of an excuse to not workout and am back up to the weight that I delivered at! Hoping to get things back on track before I return to work in 4 months so that I don't have to buy a new wardrobe, ha! Trying so hard to find the time and energy. Here we go...
