There is a lot to learn - I've been doing this for 3 months now and it is worth all the trouble and planning. Many resources can be found on-line. As a start, try bobsredmill.com. There is a link there that has a LOT of links to on-line sites to read about research and menu plans. There are a ton of blogs written by GF folks who love to cook. I finally had to move on after looking at some of the sites for more than an hour. Hmmm - I really should go back and review those!

Francie, there are some excellent GF cookbooks and nutrition guides available. I highly recommend you check out the library, and anything by Carol Fenster, Tricia Thompson or Shelly Case is worth buying. They stress good nutrition for those of us required to eat gluten free.

Hi, My name is Francie. I live in Arkansas. I have been taken off gluten, all wheat products, yeast, and refined sugar due to health issues a little over a month ago. I have lost 7.8 pounds. I need help though in knowing what to cook with, recipes, etc. Thanks so much in advance.
