Hi fellow Angel people. I am from Sydney Australia, and have lost 14 kilos so far on my journey. I met my short term goal early, so was very pleased with myself, but pride goeth before a fall, yeah? It's a lesson I have to learn, not to advertise, or bang on about my weight loss to other people. Every time I do it, I put weight back on!!
Now if that's not a life lesson, what is? I'm mindful of it, but can't help myself, I break in the end! My short term goal was to be 99 kilos by my Birthday, 9th August, but I got there about 5 weeks early. I shocked myself by getting down to 97.4!!!! Yay....Since then I've been fluctuating, going up & down, Was 97.8 yesterday. So, going in the right direction!!
My main problem is getting out & walking. When I'm out there, I love it. It's just the getting there that's my problem. My other problem is that I really should be meditating more, but I am being slack about that, too. Both things I know would fix a lot of my smaller problems, anyone got any advice about why I don't seem to want to help myself? Trying to learn the lessons, can't see the wood for the trees.
My interests are, Crystals, Angels, and all related things. My fave books are, The Body is the Barometer of the Soul, by Annette Noontil, and Louse L Hay, You can Heal your Life. Fave site at the moment is Little Grandmother, link here:-
This will show her vids.
I hope to make some friends here, seeing as we are all believers, and are trying to make ourselves into better people, we are, aren't we? I know I am, anyhoo!!
As I need to lose another 27 kilos, I'm hoping to get some help as well as being support for all of you, too, in attaining your goals.
My next goal is to be 85 kilos by Xmas. I am fructose free, started in 1st week of September 2010. My other weight loss site is Sweet Poison, or How Much Sugar. They are run by the same people. Best things I ever did in my life, was, giving up smoking, about 20 odd years ago, and going fructose free! For most of my adult life, felt hungry all the time. Now I don't. My appetite control has kicked in since going fructose free, simple as that.
No more juice for me, it's full of fructose, I never touch honey, maple syrup, fruit juice, chocolate, most breakfast cereals, any Nestle products (!) apples, pears & bananas are limited, obviously no soft drinks & sweets/lollies, ice cream, cakes & biscuits. I use the following in my cooking. Rice Malt Syrup as a substitute for honey, golden syrup, maple syrup & molasses. Dextrose powder instead of sugar, and haven't given up ALL artificial sweeteners, I use a product called Natvia, which is made from Stevia. It's not as expensive as some of the Stevia products her in Oz. This way, I can still have the occasional biscuit, or cake, but only have them now as a treat, now & then, not as a daily substitute, and only if I baked it myself, with dextrose/Rice Malt Syrup. My only dessert is lo-cal Aeroplane Jelly with a little cream. I snack on almonds, and a few Arnotts Shapes, now & then. (It's an Oz product, not sure if you can buy them in US).
Well, that's all my stuff in a sorta nutshell, well, it's the best (& shortest) I can do!!
I do tend to write small books!! Sorry in advance for that.
Must go now, stuff to do.
