Good idea!! You deserve this!!
After all if you were taking care of (or already do) someone else you would be right there with a meal at least 3x a day @ a table or whatever.
I'm always telling everyone "set yourself a place @ the counter,table whatever. Get yourself a napkin and a glass and a plate and most of all "TREAT YOURSELF AS THE SPECIAL PERSON YOU ARE"
emoticon because sometimes I forget it myself!!

I ate in all sorts of places today! I drank my breakfast smoothie standing up in the kitchen whilst I made my packed lunch for work! I ate my morning snack while I was unpacking my bag and boiling the kettle to make a coffee! I ate my lunch straight out of the plastic box, standing up because I'd been sitting for ages at the computer! I had a late afternoon snack from a deli which I ate whilst I walked to the bus station! I made myself sit at the table for my dinner, but I couldn't resist checking through some paperwork I had on the side.

What I discovered mostly today was that, somewhere along the line, I've stopped allowing myself time to eat - almost like 'mealtimes' have been removed from the day and I just eat around all the other things I do - often 'on the hoof'!

Well, at least I've discovered something! I have two days off from work now, so am really going to practice stopping to eat!

Right - I'm starting today on this Mindfulness journey!
I do lots of mindless eating at present (sic)
- if I plan my meals, I eat them whether I am hungry or not
- I eat standing up, at the computer, on the run, reading emails, texting, reading
- if I haven't planned, I wait until I'm hungry then throw something together and eat fast
- I use eating for breaks, comfort, pleasure, etc etc.
So - there's a lot to be gained on this challenge
