I have been on the site for about 3 weeks, but I am just now getting to introduce myself to some of the sites. This is one of them I am especially glad to join.
I have been trained in Zen, and Tibetan Buddhist mindfulness and have also read Jon Kabot-Zinn and have relied on my training every day this last year trying to regain my health.
I have been working on my weight seriously for the last year, and have worked with nutritionists, a naturopath, trainers, yoga teacher, etc. All of them have given me great information, but the success of using the info. they have taught me has come down to mindfullness.
I hope to develop it's use further with this group, and I especially want to learn practical ways others are using mindfulness with their weightloss journey. I also have been benefitting from the goals I have taken on from other groups and look forward to seeing the types of challenges this group has.
