Hi, I used to do that too before I went through eating disorders treatment in 1991. Not so much anymore. If you are in to researching it on line you can also check Eating Disorders Anonymous which is similiar to Overeaters Anonymous. I have been to both.

many of us do that also. you might want to check out the no binging challenges or oa. if there is not a group in your town, try the online site., there is almost always someone on line and they are very helpful. best of luck with your journey and please use your therapist. emotional eating takes it toll even when your weight is not high.
I am new to the group. I have just made a discovery about myself that is very disturbing. I am using food to punish myself, not be withholding it, but by stuffing myself to the point of pain. I haven't heard of anyone else doing this. I would appreciate any insight you can offer. I already plan to talk with my therapist. However, to me research is king, so I would like to research it myself. Thanks, and I look forward to getting to know you.
