new to ideal protein. i am hoping that i can get some support from you all and maybe some recipe ideas. I gag at the thought of salad everynight. I found a receipe tonight for turnip fries. going to try them and see what they are like. First week lost 7.5 pounds. feel no different and see no difference so i am hoping the next 7 pounds that come off in the next week or two will make a difference.

I am now starting my 2nd week. My first week was good I lost 8 #s. I felt like cheating a couple of times but I held strong and I'm so happy. Right now, I'm still struggling a little with energy. I tried quite a few things this week that I liked and many things I didn't. I lost 25 pounds about 2 years ago, but this last year I have been gaining it back. For the last month I was gaining 1-3 pounds a week even though i didn't feel like I had drastically changed my diet. Anyway, I'm thrilled to be losing again and I'm going to try and find more for maintenance when I get down to the weight I want to be. I'm glad this group is here, to be able to talk to.
