MAGNOLIA416: Hi..... you can do a HM - especially if you watch your HR and listen to your body. Run-walk is easier on your joints and muscles and tendons.

Cool! I did the Scotiabank Waterfront 5K last year and I'm doing it again this year! That' the biggest race I've done.

The race you did in PE County sounds excellent! I'll keep it in mind!

I did the Scotiabank in Toronto a few years back - it is flat so you can get good times. But - the Prince Edward County is a nice small (700 runners) race to start with. I have done it three times. You run along the Bay of Quinte and the Sandbanks Provincial Park. The hospitality is amazing. I stayed at a B&B and went to the spagetti dinner the night before. www.pecmarathon.com

Hello!

Iíve been running for just over a year. Iím having trouble building up my endurance. I have a heart problem, which is part of the reason. Iím a 5K runner and have gone 10K a few times. Iíd like to go for a half marathon next year or the year afterÖinjury-free! Iíve heard a bit about Jeff Galloway and hope to learn more through this SparkTeam.

I live in Toronto, ON, Canada and there are a lot of runners and races here!

Hi everyone. I'm joining in order to motivate to begin running again. The last time I ran was around two years ago. I trained and ran a half marathon and then I just rested a little too long. Now I want to get back to running and to the fitness I gained when I trained for runs.
