My SparkPage

I'm a 51 year old female that never even had the slightest amount of heartburn until about 10 months ago. I started feeling full all of the time, trouble eating a full amount of anything and really bad heartburn. I could control the heartburn with over the counter meds for about 7 months, but not the other problems and a strong pain under my should blade.

I finally got the courage to see a gastro and agreed to the tests that I had dreaded....colonoscopy and endoscopy. I was really surprised to get a diagnosis of Barrett's, gastritis and less surprised to hear about the hiatal hernia.

I am extremely grateful to get the diagnosis early and the chance to learn how to heat the right foods and get tested regularly. To be honest, it has scared me a great deal. Hope to share what I learn with you all, and learn from you all.
