I really don't know when I joined spark, but it was several years ago. I didn't use the web site until here lately. I am trying to get better at sparking, I have meet so many good friends here, But need to spark more. I find it helps me with staying on track with eating and other goals.

2 random, fun facts about me: well, I don't have kids, so I have fur kids, as I call them. I have 2 cats and 2 dog. They are the highlight of my day.
I love to lift weights and go out for walks.
Anything else you like to share: Like most of everyone else, I have been married for 16 years. My husband tho, is not as supportive to me in the weight loss as I would want him to be. And My family is not as supportive either.
I can be hard on myself sometimes, and I need a kick in the behind by my friends at spark to keep me going. I know this is where I belong. In spark, with spark people. I am trying to be more active in the group and in spark in general. love you guys Hope to get to know everyone alot better.

Goal Weight/Goal Weight Loss: 125. Was there last year but I've let 6 pounds creep on and I'm struggling not to go higher.
Overall Goal: I am fairly healthy and I'd like to stay that way. I would also like to be consistent in eating more veggies and fruit. I had a hysterectomy last year and since then have had IBS that gets very uncomfortable from time to time. It is easily controlled by eating well but I am lackadaisical about that.
2 Random, Fun Facts about You: 1. I love to hike and hike at least every other week in the mountains around Santa Fe. I have a great hiking group. 2. I am a transplanted Montrealer living in the US with my American husband. 3. I have an awesome daughter, son-in-law and three cute grandchildren (5, 4 and 2). Oh and my hubby is pretty great too.

I lost 60-70 pounds and then let 'life' run over me for almost a year and regained most of that...I'm back at it again and determined to make this the year to succeed!
CRAZY homelife...hubby facing health issues and income taking a nosedive as a result. As a freelance writer I have times when I have no assignments or more than enough to make my computertime 'all work and no play' so if I go 'missing' for a few days or week at a time, I'm still around just scanning posts and hitting basics!

In the medium run goal: 20 pounds less. Random 2 about me: 1) I love to play with words, no matter in which language I am speaking or writing, no matter how well I know that language, I just feel the need to play with words. 2) I have no sense of physical orientation ( is this a true term? in English): North? South? East? West? What is that? I easily get lost if I am not familiar with an area, perhaps because I am always in my mind -- and do not pay too much attention to the external. 2 Random, Fun Facts about You: I have an almost idiot savant memory of things I watch on tv. Last night I walked through the living room to carry folded laundry into my bedroom and as I walked back out I told my boyfriend I recall that episode of forensic files, the mine guard was found on a mountaintop, his coworker with the camaro killed him. I had seen it almost a year ago, caught maybe 3 seconds of it walking by and had instant recall. Now if I could remember important facts the same way I'd clean up on Jeopardy! I took a class for a gun permit last week, not sure if I'd ever carry one but the first time my hunny and I went target shooting I got almost all bullseyes while not even wearing my glasses. Turns out I'm a natural at something I never thought I'd try.
Anything else you want to share: I've been in the dumps for two months on my Spark program, ever since I had the flu. I'm recovered physically but am struggling to get back into routines.
I posted a 40 things about me blog a while back just chocked with random facts. The two above didn't make that list.
