Kristine, Thanks for asking about my trip to Vail. It was amazing! They got snow before we arrived, and the temps had stayed cold. First day of skiing was good...and then... we got 32 inches of snow in 2 days! I had 2 amazing powder days (fried my quads) and then the last day was a beautiful blue sky spring day. One of the best ski vacations and snow conditions ever.
Rachel, I'm on board. Particularly if we can get sponsorship for those plane tickets.
I dread the end of the season. I've progressed so much this year and I know that it will take several outings next year to get it back. Also, skiing has been a constant source of enjoyable exercise as I've begun my Spark journey. Pretty soon I'm going to have to Spark without my skis. I am looking forward to my garden though.
Yep, we are done for the season too. I'm sad. I love who I am when I am on ski hill, I'm so comfortable there and I have a blast.
Looking forward to next year though, we'll buy passes at the small local hill and get our daughter into the ski program so we can start turning skiing into a full family adventure. Last weekend we skied with my dad, uncle, and cousin. It was fun to rip it up as a family.

I always find I'm hitting my stride right about now! I realized I want to take a lesson for better pole planting/carving but when do I do that? When I start off next season I will want to hit my stride before taking the lesson! Perhaps we should all head to New Zealand?
If you win 51% of the battles you have won the war.
I have not skied for the last 2 years, and only get to go one time a year in the years I do ski. so as all of you are putting your skis away, I am going to to Vail in April for my fist ski in 2 years! Woohoo! Hope the skiing is still good.
Yes, I know that feeling well. I made huge strides in my skiing this year, just at the end, too, and have not been ready. But...I finally put my skis away last night. I've been staring at them for a couple of weeks now and had to say ta ta for now.

Personal motto - Will it get me where I want to be?
I am new to this team, but along with so many of you are NOT READY for the season to end. I just came back from a 4 day trip, I feel soooooo great and strong! I will continue getting to know all of you! cheers!
