I worked in Switzerland for a year and had a chance to tour through some French and Swiss resorts. I miss the European ski hills. There is something so magical about them. Can't wait until we a re bit more financially set and I can take my husband and daughter for a ski trip to Europe!
Looking forward to reading your ski reports!

I'm an American expat and have been living in Germany for over 25 years now -- I married a German man . Marcy, that's so funny that we were both on the Seiser Alm/Alpi di Suisi in December, there really weren't that many people there. We probably passed each other! I was already looking into the Valle d'Aoste for one of the next trips, thanks for the link!
I've always been skiing on the Alps, I was in Seiser Alm ,South Tyrol ,in December, too !!!!!!!!! I'm just back from Champoluc - Monterosaski, Vallee d'Aoste. It was sunny and the snow was just incredible , the slopes are unbelievable, check at www.monterosaski.com
I'm really excited to find this group. I've gotten back into skiing this year after a long hiatus. My husband and I bought new ski equipment -- skis sure have changed in the meantime. We're now adjusting to skiing with carving skis. They're a lot of fun. We were on the Seiser Alm in Italy (Dolomites) for a week in December. The past three Saturdays we've been skiing the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena in Austria (Lermoos, Berwang). We're lucky enough to live an hour away. We're loving it!
