I've heard that skiing at Tahoe is awesome! I would love to go there some day. I hope you can make it out to the slopes soon!

We're closer to San Francisco, but that means Lake Tahoe's about 4 hours away (depending on the roads). Every time it rains here, I think about the snow Tahoe must be getting in a few hours! I just wish my hubby liked to ski like I do! Luckily, my brother does, and we're about the same level (right in between blue squares and black diamonds), and we ski a lot alike, so we're great ski buddies. I haven't been to Ashland since I was a kid, but I grew up in Eureka, and we went to Shasta a lot.

Hi! I live next door to you in Southern Oregon! Are you near Mt. Shasta? I ski there once or twice a year. I usually ski at Mt. Ashland witch is only about 45 minutes away from where I live. We are having a very slow start this winter. We need more snow!!
Good luck with your biking!

I've XC'd at Kirkwood a few years ago, and as you probably are more than aware, the Echo to Kirkwood race ended there, I did that a couple years too, on snowshoes, not skis, though.

We did go to the downhill area last year, and it was really nice!

Glad you joined the team, and hope you get out on the powder soon!

Hi there! I'm a new mom who REALLY misses the slopes. I spent a winter working at Kirkwood years ago, where I could ski nearly every day, especially on those WONDERFUL powder days, and I'm really hoping to fit in a trip or two this year. I've been skiing my whole life, and I just love it.
