Hi, my husband and I are co-owners of a small resort in northern PA. We are off the beaten path, but have tons of great, challenging terrain. The best thing so far this winter about getting in shape is that my first 8 hr day on the slopes was a breeze! No soreness or muscle pain, just plain old end of the day skiing/boarding tiredness! (I'm a skier for about 25 years, but recently started snowboarding. Now that all my kids are old enough to ride the lift and ski on their own, I'm hoping to improve past the basic intermediate stage in boarding.)
