YES!!! I finished, in the rain with 4,000 other women, it was great! I did end up walking up a very large hill with another lady who looked like she could use the company, other than that I ran the whole way and about a 14min mile. Not too bady since I hadn't run all week.
Well tomorrow is the 4 miler! I am pretty excited although I haven't run all week. I have ulcerative colitis and it has been giving my some problems. I am just going to put one foot in front of the other and hope for the best tomorrow. I saw on the news this morning a bit piece about the run and it looks great! Just glad it's early in the morning, looks like it's going to be a hot one today and tomorrow. I hope everyone has a great long weekend!
I am up for anything. Today was the first day of school and that was pretty hard, my middle one started kindergarten so I just have one left at home. I am hoping this week isn't too bad with trying to get all my stuff done and workout and try and really get a routine down. That is going to be my goal for this week is just to take a lot of deep breaths and when it doubt drink a glass of water! Cheers to the new week

Welcome Krista! I just moved to Waynesboro from Fishersville but live in Wilson school district. We are neighbors! :) I have several friends that run the Cville 4m. You will love it. I am running the RnR half in VA Beach so I will not be running that one.

Hi all, I am pretty new here, trying my best to navigate around. So far I have gotten down the daily food and exercise logs and weekly weigh-ins, today was my second weigh-in. I live in Fishersville, Va. Between Waynesboro and Staunton. I am currently prepping for the C'ville 4 miler. Very nervous/excited. It's my first race since college! And that was a while ago. :) Anyway I just wanted to say hi and I hope everyone is having a great Thursday!!
Welcome to the team! There are quite a few members from the northern Shenandoah Valley. I live near Waynesboro, but I am in Front Royal a few times a year to work with some of my customers - Skyline HS and Warren Co HS.
Hi! I lived in Front Royal for about 3 years and have been "active" on Spark about a week. I'm taking classes at Lord Fairfax with the hopes of getting in a Nursing program. I am so happy I found this group. I really don't know a lot of people in the area other than neighbors. I have about 90lbs to lose.
