Hi there! I'm Donna and I've been generously endowed my whole life. When I was at my lowest weight as an adult, my breasts never lost an ounce but at least they didn't grow when I was pregnant either! I'm five foot one and a 38 F/G. Yep, you read that right. It's amazing that I can stand upright.

I couldn't find anything in the search box until I tried "big boobs" and then voila! I'm disappointed that this team doesn't seem to be very active but maybe we can change that. It's a special challenge working out when you are built bigger on top. Running? Bwah ha ha.

Anyway, hope to meet other ladies here (I'm just going to presume there are no men) and have fun as we each take our individual journey on this path.

Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.

I just found you. I was looking at some of your older threads. Everything here applies to me. I am so glad I came across this team.

Welcome Gwen!! I also felt silly searching for "boobs" SparkTeams, but it is so nice to find a group of people that just relate! I totally understand that the big girls limit the exercise that is desirable and not painful. I have found that ellipticals limit the amount of bouncing. Of course I also have pretty bad knees and found that I can't really do the treadmill or stationary bike! But it's all in trial and error! Good luck with everything!! You can do it!

Hi everyone! Just started using SP, though I joined awhile ago. So glad to find this group - I felt silly searching for "boobs" :) I've been limited to walking and riding a recumbent stationary bike for awhile because of chronic arm pain, but I'm going to try to start walk/jogging again on Monday - I hope it's not too painful! 40F last time I measured, but that was 15 pounds or so ago. Glad to find a group of women who understand!!

Hello everyone,

I have been trying to find ways to actively workout without my girls getting in the way. It seems the only exercise I can do is walk on a treadmill. Everything else causes serious pain. I try it and find I can only do so much because they are so big! I am currently a 38 I, and for some reason I think they are bigger than that. I live in the US and I know there are differences in the sizes overseas and I noticed that there are members from everywhere. Trying to find a way to shed the pounds and some of the extra baggage that weighs me down. Otherwise I'll avoid wearing white in the winter, as to not look like a snowman.

Hi Rachel. Welcome back to SparkPeople. I started at 330lbs at a 48G and I'm currently 265 and a 40G, so not much change in the area I wanted, lol. I have always been large busted, too. The famed Enell bra I have found helpful in preventing them from hitting me in the face, lol. :)

Hello everyone. I'm Rachel and I'm currently sitting (albeit a bit hunched over) at about 32F. My girls have been large since about age 9 or 10 so I always joke that I don't really notice them until I'm working out and they smack me in the face. They go down a little as I lose weight but not as much as I sometimes wish. I'm coming back to SP after taking a long hiatus while living abroad.

When I was loosing weight and wasn't sure about size differences, BUSTSTOP sent me two sizes (charged me for both), I kept one, sent the other back (and they refunded bra price, not shipping). Lot cheaper than driving to Tulsa.

If I posted my "in bra pic" you'd know what I'm talking about!
I found a catalogue and I have 1 (one!!!!!) bra that kind of fits. It was expensive you wouldn't belive!!!
I wash and wear, wash and wear...I used to work out in old ones, but my boobs keep falling out of those so...it's back to this one.
Yesterday I ordered a new one. Hope it fits!!!
Online. Yes. I hope and pray as I keep losing weight I am able to be my original C cup wich you can buy in stores...
Online and catalogue is bad because you get to try them and if they don't fit it takes forever,,,,dark ages, that's what it is for women with XXXL boobs :(

Welcome to the team. :)

I know you can buy many large cup bras online (on company websites or ebay, etc.) if you know your size. My girls are F/G.

Hi. My name is Lori and my girls hang around in a DDD(F) bra. It is so hard to find a bra for me. I have been to 2 Bra fitting stores and they always seem to let me down. They don't have it in stock or it takes months for it to come in. I am down to 2 bra's right now and one of them is falling apart. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba and have no idea where to look now.

Hello- the girls and I have been lurking for a bit and decided it was time to jump in and join this team. My name is Debie, I am all natural and loving every bit of my 36J's.

I will admit that it is all because I finally found a bra that fits, I mean really fits, but I'll save the details of the story for the 'exercising' topic on this site.

I've been a member of SP for a few months, they don't get credit for my weightloss, I DO. SP is just one of the tools I use to help me get to my healthier lifestyle.

Looking forward to chatting with more of you on a more personal basis.

hi!
I'm from Europe. At current weight I have a bra that's 120 I !!!!!!!
It does not look good!
It doesn't feel good. But I don't have to tell you all...
When I was a "normal" size/weight, I wore a 38C.
I am hoping - and praying - as I loose weight, they would get smaller too. That alone is one BIG (pun intended ;) - motivation!
I am already obese. But THEY make me look 40 pounds heavier! darn

Some people do, some don't. I'm losing inches on the body and not the boobs so the cup size is actually going up!

Current long range goal is to get down to 150 pounds and get really strong so I can hike again. I have a plan to buy the many things I will need for my dream flyfishing trip and have laid out which ones I can buy at each 10 pound loss.

Nice to meet you. I know finding bras that fit can be really difficult. As far as sports bras, I've heard great things about the Enell bras.

Hey, I found this team by someone linking to it from somewhere (I forgot who and where, sorry I was at work) and I thought "Oh my, people who understand!!)

I'm a 32F, not the biggest out there, but pretty sizeable. Its hard to find bras that I don't have to order online ESPECIALLY sports bras. I'm just glad to find other in the same plight. :P

Wow, a group of real women! I started out at 285 pounds and 48G. I'm now at 232 pounds and 44G. I developed an hourglass figure between 6th and 7th grade then added cup sizes with each baby. The doctor says they'll shrink with weight loss but I remember a picture of my mother when she got down to 135 pounds. She looked like she would topple over any second. She's now 81 and still hasn't lost a single cup size!

Current long range goal is to get down to 150 pounds and get really strong so I can hike again. I have a plan to buy the many things I will need for my dream flyfishing trip and have laid out which ones I can buy at each 10 pound loss.

Welcome to the team. Definitely, I get that suggestion a lot. Oh, as you'll lose weight the girls will shrink. LOL. Well 75 pounds later, I've lost 8 inches on the band size but not a single cup size. Blegh. I got fitted at a professional bra place (Bra and Girdle Factory in Lakewood, NJ) but once you know your correct size, you can find bras much cheaper online. :)

Hi my name is Michelle or Chelle which ever you like. I am currently a size.. umm not sure really. I live in Oklahoma and let me say the accommodations for largeness in the bosom is not very good. I think I am like a 46 E or EE or something like that.

Does anyone else get the question... when you lose weight will your boobs shrink? I love that question.. of course silly they will shrink some but let's be honest these girls were made to stand out.

Hugs and glad to be here.

Hi, I'm also new! Out of frustration, I searched the Spark Teams for "big boobs" and, voila! Exercise has always been a challenge because of my bust size and I get tired of holding my chest while during jumping jacks. I wear a 36G, which was correct about 30 pounds ago, but that is now too small. (Yup, I've gained weight.) I have been reading the various threads on supportive bras and appreciate all the info.

I am currently wearing the Mystere bra, which Oprah has recommended. It's pretty good for support (though it is not an exercise bra), but I need a bigger size, to be honest. I looked it up and the nearest Intimacy store is about 600 miles away. Oh well, maybe one day I'll visit a city that has one of these stores.

Anyway, thanks for having me!

So I've seen this team mentioned twice in the last 24 hours, so I must be meant to join, lol.

Hi. I'm Josie, 23, and in NJ. I'm currently a 42F/G and started at a 48F/G. Was hoping with the weight loss the girls would shrink, but not so lucky, lol. It's nice to find a place where people can understand what you're saying/feeling. Woo hoo. :)

Hi!

I saw this team on another member's sparkpage and HAD to join! I'm a DDD (F) and have contended with these things since I gained a lot of weight while I was pregnant with my son (he turned 17 last week!)

If you guys have ANY back strengthening exercises or ideas to make lugging these things around easier, I'm all ears!

I too understand your pain...I'm a 34G also have the hardest time finding a bra, sports bra or swim suit that fits (without showin off the "girls")! My breasts also seem to be growing with age (and I'm only 30!)...thank goodness my hubby is a boob man!

Large breasts sorta run in my family (more to being overweight than actually having large breasts--mine have never decreased in size), but my mother is lucky to fill a training bra...how did that happen?!

Yeah, my mom has pretty average size boobs (B at a regular weight, but now that she's a bit heavier, it's more like a D), so when I grew out of my D cup in high school, she didn't quite know what to do! lol I started with buying bras online, but by the time I got them, they were already too small. I've recently found some at Macy's that fit, but they are definitely granny-bras! lol And if I grow any more, I'll just have to try online again. Hopefully I won't, though, and losing weight should help.

I myself am a 34GG (good gods is how DH refers to them as).

The older I get, the bigger they get. What's up with that?

I finally found a bra (called a TAB bra), that really works. Flattering it isn't, but boy does it keep them where they should be!!!! They are quite pricey, but extended health covers it, so I'm happy with that. I can exercise in them - heck the gal that sold them to me told me I could and back then I wasn't exercising because I was at my goal weight. Now that I am back to needing to exercise, I use one for that.

I had tried Curves a few years back, but because I was big then (about an E) I had to wear 2 bras for support.

This is a story I tell often. When I was 18, looking for a new bra for my grad dress, I found out my mom and I were the same size (she was 37). Well, just before my mom's 50th she got a reduction. She was an H. Well here I am at 36 and a GG. Imagine when I am close to 50 emoticon

Okay, here's the reason I started this team: I have big boobs. I'm a 34G, and it is more than difficult to find a bra in my size, let along one that I like! They get in the way, and exercising can be uncomfortable.

Therefore, I created this team to bring support (pun fully intended) to my fellow large-breasted sisters out there!

I'm fairly new to SP, but I really like it, and I think I'll be around for a while.
