Hello and welcome to the team. I wish you much success on your new journey with us & I hope you find all the help and encouragement that you need here.
I just joined the team and want to introduce myself. I currently live in Oregon and am the mother of 3 boys (14, 20, 25). I have been divorced for four years from a horrible marriage, but that's for another group, lol. I have had back issues for over 12 years that were made worse when I slipped on some stairs and fractured my T-12 vertebrae (supposedly from my weight) in April of 2009. I had a surgical procedure that made it worse which unfortunately couldn't be reversed. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia the end of 2009 when I was able to finally see a pain specialist, (so much for my primary dr.) and have it seems to me as if the pain just gets worse over time. I have recently started looking into fibro a little more than in the beginning diagnoses due to this increase in pain and have found so many answers to questions I didn't even know I had. I look forward to being a part of this group and hope we can all be supportive of each other on a daily basis.
Finally people who will understand my misery.
I have accepted fear as a part of life, specifically the fear of change, the fear of the unknown. I have gone ahead despite the pounding in my heart that says: Turn back, turn back; you'll die if you venture too far."

Hi!My name is Kim. I suffer from fibromyalgia and many other conditions. I would love for all of us to respark this team. All of us can use the support & knowledge each of us has to help us survive with our fibro. Please reintroduce yourselfs and let's get this team moving in the right direction. I'll try to create a topic daily for us and please feel free to share anything you may be thinking or feeling with the team.
