Hi Walt. Welcome to the Team. We are a small group, but there has been some growth in the group in just the last month or so. I believe some of our members are golfers, some are followers of the Tour, and most are both.
Your goal of losing 15 pounds in 6 weeks sounds slightly on the aggressive side, but probably doable, especially if a factor in your weight gain was a medicine you are no longer taking. I also certainly get the office job thing. I'm only at my desk the typical 5 days a week, but when I here I get as much physical activity as, oh maybe my stapler!
I am jealous of your "reward." I followed a practice round for the U.S. Open at Congressional last summer and had a blast. I can only imagine how great Augusta National would be.
