Welcome to our team. I am new to this team too. I can totally relate to your plight about the pounds coming off so slowly. I've been there and in fact am currently there. I am hoping this team will give me some helpful tips. In the meantime we should try to focus on getting healthier!

I just came back from the doctor very discouraged. I have been working out for four weeks and have been working hard to eat healthy foods and portion my meals. I thought I might have lost weight by now, but it turns out that I haven't, if anything I might have gained a pound or two. My blood sugar is normal and my cholesterol is in good shape however, the weight is not coming off. A friend told me about this site so I am giving it a try as a way to keep the ball rolling. I hope to see a difference within 10 months.
