Hi, I am Holly and I have been with Sparkpeople since February of this year. I have always been rather snobby about what I eat keeping in mind my own health, the treatment of animals and the planet. I gave up the junk and now (although I tried to never consumed artificial ingredients) I am quite selective. Not fond of Frankenfood! I have lost 42 pounds here and intend to go down another 30+ pounds. To say eating well has given me my life back would be an understatement. Happy to join this group. -Holly

I'm DJ and I've been on SP for several years, but I haven't fully participated. So this year I decided to put some real effort in to my ongoing goal of getting healthier. Part of that goal is cutting out the proccessed junk we seem to consume at my house. I've been eating lots of fresh veggies and fruit this year. I have noticed that I get far fewer headaches and I generally feel better. I've had gastric issues in the past, but the fresh one ingredient foods seem to resolve that issue. I look forward to learning from this group.
