Hi! I am new to Spark Teams, and I look forward to reading about everyone's experiences with eating clean. My daughter embarked on a "getting healthy and fit" journey over the last year, and it has inspired me to make some lifestyle changes myself. As I've traveled to and lived in other countries throughout my life I've known of the dangers this nation faces with so many processed foods and toxic ingredients. I gave up soda many years ago and have cut out most everything with high fructose corn syrup. A few months ago I decided to cut out refined sugar and white flour and attempt to adopt a clean eating lifestyle, but this has been much harder than I expected. I find myself in a hurry a lot, and then I realize I forgot to check a label here, or run out of time to plan meals or cook something from scratch. There's still much I need to learn and change, and I know being active with this team is the first step.
