I have been doing a low carb diet since July 1st, but with school starting I would like to do something with a little more variety. I miss fruit. I plan to try to stay away from "white food" and limit whole grains/ bread. Tonight I had spaghetti for the first time in two months (with whole wheat pasta) and it was heavenly! I know I can't expect to eat lots of pasta and continue to loose, but once in awhile it is really nice. On low carb I have lost 12 lbs, and I have about 15 more to go. I will be tracking my calories more carefully now that I am letting up on the carbs and will be watching myself to see how hungry I get (no hunger on low carb is nice!). I can always go back to lower carb but I like eating healthfully and have a copy of the book Eating Clean from 2007. And frankly, I was getting terribly bored with the limited choices of low carb. So here I am!
